Hot Horseradish with fresh beets! Freshly ground by hand right in our fermentorium in Kearny, NJ. This stuff is as delicious as it is nostalgic. Great for making sandwiches, adding to sauces and especially to your weekend Bloody Mary Cocktails! The beet horseradish is different that the regular hot horseradish in that it is slightly sweeter and is a touch less hot.
Tasty but lacking heat. I would consider mild to medium on the heat scale.
Excellent. A nice balance of sweetness from the beets and the hotness from the horseradish. Tried it on knock wursts, bratwurst and hotdogs. It was so good I ate half the jar the first time I tried it.
