I tasted the horseradish and it tastes fresh, as if I freshly grated it. It has a little kick to it but not very spicy. It will be great mixed with ketchup for a cocktail sauce or on a nice piece of roast beef.
I love my horseradish to be hot! The hot horseradish you get in supermarkets isn't very hot when you get home, if it even ever was. This is legit. When I make seafood cocktail sauce I want it to be hot, if it makes my eyes water than it's hot enough! This can do the job, if it's too hot add a little more ketchup, if it's not hot enough add a little more AM Hot Horseradish and it will be fine!
